Dr. Tibbetts is originally from the Florida panhandle and loves the sandy white beaches of the Emerald Coast! She attended college at the University of Florida and is an avid Gators fan. After college, Dr. Tibbetts spent one-year teaching high school Biology in her hometown before attending medical school in Miami, Florida. She then moved to Birmingham to complete her residency at UAB. Dr. Tibbetts and her husband have one daughter. She loves to travel, attend sporting events, and spend time with family and friends. Dr. Tibbetts has been part of the SWC pediatric unit, Birmingham, Al, since 2007.
