Deerfoot Internal Medicine Joins Complete Health

Deerfoot joins one of the fastest-growing private primary care groups in the state

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 27, 2021 – Deerfoot Internal Medicine has joined the Complete Health family of primary care practices as the company’s seventh Birmingham location. Complete Health is a physician driven, value-based group dedicated to improving patient health outcomes. Deerfoot Internal Medicine is located at 6725 Deerfoot Parkway in Pinson and will continue in the same location. Deerfoot Internal Medicine will soon be rebranded Complete Health Deerfoot.

Becoming a part of Complete Health will give the practice additional resources to continue to provide excellent patient care in a privately-owned company independent from larger health systems. Complete Health practices include those formerly known as Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates, Northside Medical Associates, and Adamsville Family Medicine.

Complete Health is a Florida-based, privately-owned primary care practice group that focuses on quality primary care with expanded services and convenient care options to provide care efficiently and cost- effectively.

For more than 20 years, Deerfoot Internal Medicine has been serving the Clay/Trussville area with excellent primary care. Dr. Vlad Prelipcean, Dr. Octavian Popescu, and Dr. Stephen Hicks lead the practice supported by a 20-person care team. The clinic includes full-service primary care services along with diagnostics, lab and Xray services.
